Location & Description: Moscow Rick offers two one-bedroom apartments in this building and this one is the most economical of the two, as it is a little smaller and a feature or two less than the other apartment. On the 5th floor with a pleasant view of a children's play area and an enclosed balcony, this apartment is in a great location just off the Garden Ring road (the main road in Moscow that circles the city center) and only a few minutes walk to metro Sukharevskaya.
Metro Svetnoy Bulvar (next door to the famed Moscow Circus) is only a
7-minute walk in the other direction. Dome Cinema (one of only two theaters in Moscow with movies in English -and Russian via headphones) is about a 15-minute walk. Very secure building and apartment with two reliable elevators and quiet neighbors.
A remodel was completed three months ago. Brand new bed, sofa (sleeps 2 comfortably), multi-format VCR (plays VHS tapes from anywhere), microwave, and washer/dryer. Well-equipped kitchen. TV, iron, and large refrigerator.
Across the Garden Ring road from Moscow's 'hippest', most popular cafe (all apartment guests get first available table), as well as McDonalds, Subway Sandwich, good Japanese restaurant, Baskin-Robbins, a pharmacy, and many shops. A short walk to a very popular authentic Ukrainian restaurant and a money exchange is on the same block.
Highly recommended.

Rick has the only American owned and managed apartment rental service in the city -and if the internet is to be believed- the best reputation in Moscow for customer service.

Free Services: moving-in assistance, daily maid service (cleaning, laundry, washing), clean bed linens and towels, 24-hour assistance (Rick lives in 5 minutes walk from all his apartments, so he'll be able to help you instantly, either in the day or night!), plenty of good advice.

Facilities: Fully equipped kitchen (with a stove, a microwave, a big refrigerator, sink, electric teakettle, kitchen utensils, dishes, little useful things for cooking, selection of teas, a family dining table); a living room (armchairs, comfortable fold-out sofa, shelves, closet, a journal table, a table lamp,color TV, VCR, stereo (optional), movies in English; bedroom (double king-size bed with quality sheets, wardrobe, a night stand, mirror, candles); bathroom has a nice bath and shower, the toilet is very clean, imported soft toilet paper.
Washing machine.
Bed linens and towels are provided (all imported).
A private telephone line - cordless phone (phone calls within Moscow are free).
Computer & internet ready (American-style plugs).

Security: Safe thick metallic door with a double lock. Intercom. The door of the entrance of the house is equipped with a code lock. You'll be provided with all the keys when you move in the apartment. The owner provides 24-hour hotline assistance (Rick is American, his wife is Russian, so either you or your friend will not have any problems communicating with them both).

Documents: Our partner visa agency can provide you with visa support ($30) and / or visa registration ($20 through the agency). We recommend you to apply for your visa support through our website.

Payment: All prices are in US dollars, including all taxes. You don't need to pay electricity, heating, water bills. You might need to pay a telephone bill if you made phone calls outside of Moscow. There's no minimum stay — a nightly stay rate can be arranged.
The price stays the same for up to 4 people. The check out time is usually 12.00, however, you can re-arrange it with the landlord.
Payment can be made in Moscow (dollars or euros) or in the US (dollars - via money order or bank check). Discounts to repeat guests and to last-moment bookings if an apartment is available. Discounted long-term stays available. Free upgrades when available.
