Host:
Gurov's
family: Galina, Konstantin and their son Andrei. They live in
a nice village house just 100 meters from the sandy shore of Baikal
lake, surrounded by mountains. Galina works as a researcher in
the forests around and her husband is a fisherman. Their son,
Andrei, studies in school and knows a little bit of French. They
are very open people and when we stayed with them we realized
what famous Russian hospitality is really like.
Location: Baikal Lake shore, Buryatia republic,
Russia (250 km from Ulan-Ude). Gremyachinsk settlement
Rooms:
1 rooms: telephone, bed, wardrobe, kitchen, TV.
Sleeps: up to 6 persons (2 beds, the rest - sleeping
bags on the floor).
Requirements: No.
Payment: This is our non-commercial project, so you can
just pay $5 / night just for meals and to support the family
as well.
