I will enter Belarus on my way to Russia, can I use my Russian visa to enter Belarus?

I am traveling overland by bicycle and will cross from Ukraine to Belarus to Russia. I am wondering if I need a seperate visa for Belarus? I know there is no border post between Belarus and Russia.
Thank you!

Yes, you need a separate visa for Belarus and usually you could get a transit visa if you had the tickets that prove you're going to enter and leave Belarus and only spend 1 to 3 days there. But as you're traveling with a bicycle and don't have any tickets, you will have to get a standard Belarus visa and then also a Russian visa.

You can get a Russian visa on http://waytorussia.net/Travel/VisaSupport.html

The same company that issues your Russian visa can also help you with the Belarus visa – just ask them about this once they issue your visa support for Russia.
