Visa invitation for AirBNB stay

+1 vote
We are 9 people going to Petersburg for 2 days to stay in an apartment booked through AirBNB. My question is how to get visa invitations for such a stay. The owner of the apartment is not able to issue tourist invitations so we would have to go through an official website / travel agency. When filling out the form what hotel name should be written? Would we have any trouble by using a hotel name instead of the real address where we are staying? Thanks

Sure,

All you should do is to get the invitation on http://waytorussia.net/Services/Tourist/VisaSupport.html - choose any hotel in the list and after you get the confirmation order number write to the company directly and ask them to add the apartment instead.

You could of course also just keep a hotel on the invitation, as there is no law that says you cannot change your mind as to where you're staying after you get the visa and also your visa itself doesn't have the place of your stay specified anyway.
