I'm planning on riding the train from Moscow to Mongolia and back. When researching visa applications for Russia, I noticed that even if I get a double-entry tourist visa, I can't enter Russia for the second time from Mongolia. 
Is this true? If so, how can I work around this? Do I need to buy two separate visas? Or can I buy a 'business visa' for Russia (which allows a second entry from any country), even though I'm not doing any business?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

| Yes, this is true. You will need to get a second tourist visa or get a double-entry business visa. The business visa would be the easier option. |
