I am writing a paper on introducing Viagra to Russia. Currently, Russia does not have the product. I'd like to know if there would be a market for the drug. So, my question is, what are the sex habits of the middle-aged to the elderly?? And, am I tip-toeing around a taboo that I don't know about? Please, enlighten me.

According to this BBC article it is available in Russia since 10 years, so it seems that your paper is a bit behind the facts:

Elderly Russians don't have sex. Mid-aged Russians don't have sex too. And so do the younger ones. Didn't you know Russians spawn by budding? Laughing

There was some kind of American/Soviet TV-program back in the good ole days that tried to make the countries get closer. Viewers were to ask questions like and get an answer, like do Americans really wip black Americans in public or do Russians really eat raw bear testicles???
Well there was an American asking:
- Do you have sex in USSR?
And a female driector at a national health institue answered promply:
- In USSR, we have no sex!
