Hello!
I am working on a student project about tourism development in the Altai Republic. Does anyone out there have an opinion on what the area actually needs and whether the current situation -ie growth in adventure tourism, millions of dollars spent on Special Economic Zones for Tourism and the development of the Gorno Altaisk Airport - is good for the area or is there a risk for what makes the place so special - Its natural beauty and the fact that it's still quite inaccessible?
Any opinion welcome!
Also if anyone has been to Dagestan, I would really like to hear what you thought about it? Or if you know whether it is still not recommended to go at all, I would like to know!
