Joke number 01: Iran is a threat for world peace.

Last friday, Billy the kid (Bush) has declared, talking about Iranian nuclear project: "the world is united and concerned" Great! America cares about peace.

Of course, the USA aren't a threat for world peace (joke).

She was in the kitchen preparing to boil eggs for breakfast.
He walked in; She turned and said,
You’ve got to make love to me this very moment.’
His eyes lit up and he thought,

‘This is my lucky day.’
Not wanting to lose the moment, he embraced her
And then gave it his all;
Right there on the kitchen table.
Afterwards she said,

‘Thanks,’
And returned to the stove.
More than a little puzzled, he asked,

‘What was that all about?’
She explained,
‘The egg timer’s broken.’

BLANTYRE, Malawi - Madonna plans to adopt a child in Malawi, government officials said Wednesday, as the pop star arrived in the southern African nation on a mission to help AIDS orphans.

So, in America, there are no AIDS orphans and no poors to help. That's why american pop stars have to travel abroad to help the poors (joke).

"invisible hand" refers to the idea that when individuals pursue their own self-interest for gain in business their actions are led by an unseen force (invisible hand) to promote the general good of society. That's what believe Smith and his followers.

So, as they say, there is an unseen (and of course, benevolent!) force that rules the economy.

The same "invisible hand" has been used by Great Britain (in the OPIUM WARS) to force China to buy british drug. There were two wars, one in 1839 and one in 1856. The conclusion of these wars was the complete legazation of opium in China with the bad consequence that we all know: the destruction of the chinese society.

I am very pro-Russian at the moment. I admire and enjoy working in your country. But you're joke comparing the hopes of current Pope to past mistakes is similar to making equal Yeltsin or Putin with Ivan the terrible or Nicholas I. During more primitive times, life was brutal everywhere. Still had I lived in 1400, I would have rather been an Italian peasant than a Russian one. Or 1914, 1941, 1961, even 1987 for that matter.

Contrary to the Westerns, Russians don't give lessons to the World. They don't claim to be the most moral.
And Putin is not a Tsar. You cannot compare him to Ivan the Terrible.

Italy didn't exist in XV century. This land was constant subject of conflicts between Spain, Austria and italic cities-states. Spanish monarch Phillipp II was no better that Ivan IV the Grozny. So was Duke Alba of Holland and many other rulers of that time.
