My husband and I are starting to plan our trip to russia. We are having tremendous difficulty in trying to get our hands on an updated travel guide that isnt prior 2006.
Does anyone have any suggestions? |

| I really like the Rough Guides. I bought the newer Moscow edition for a trip (my eighth) this past February with my father. Most of the tourist information doesn't change too much, and I could've gotten along fine with my older one. However, there have been a few significant changes. Make sure you have up to date metro maps as there are renamed and new stations. There is a new monrail in the VVT area that isn't in all the books, and apparently there is new rail service to Sheremetevo. Find a guide you like with maps you can use and check the web for updated information. |
