Dear all,

I am planning a trip to the Baltic states, St Petersburg, and Moscow (and maybe Helsinki). But I am not entirely sure in what order. So I might want to visit the Baltic states between St. Petersburg and Moscow.

This makes me in need of a double entry tourist visum.

However, because I am not yet able to state the exact dates of my first and second entry, I am not able to fill out the invitation request form.

Does it matter what exact days I fill in? Or if I'd fill in this data, would it be possible to enter on any of the days between September 15th and October 14th (of course with a maximum of two):

First entry: September 15th - September 30th
Second entry: October 1st - October 14th

That would make my traveling schedule much more flexible..

Thanks
Jasper

Exact dates are not necessary. For the start (entry) date, give the earliest date on which you would enter Russia (15 September), and the end (exit) date 30 days later (14 October). You can then make your entries any time within that range.

The only limitation being, if you try to enter very soon before the exit date (say, 12 or 13 October), the Passport Control official might want you to explain your plan to leave on time. As I advise everyone, Never overstay your Russian visa!

Thanks for your reply!
Just to check:

So if I get a double entry visum with the following dates:
First entry: September 15th - September 30th
Second entry: October 1st - October 14th

I would be able to i.e. enter September 15th, leave September 17th, enter September 25th and leave October 2nd?

Thanks.

Does your visa application require you to give two entry dates?

The application form for the USA only requires the date of the first entry. If you must give both dates, I would give the second date as the EARLIEST date on which you might make your second entry, because as far as I know, entering later is no problem.
