Not everything is clear in the original message. It's full of slang and an author didn't try to write correctly in russian. It is difficult to understand what does he/she mean by some slang words without a context. I'll try, anyway.

Quote:

I'm ok. I barely can bear these creatures/beasts {Does he/she mean animals/insects or is it just derogatory variant for people who he/she doesn't like?}. I hope it won't last too long. I was appointed to a hairdresser's job by somebody {Who is "Was". Is it you or some person named "Was"?}. I'm not good at it. I hope everything will be all right. Need pass a check {does he/she mean an exam or trial period?} within 3 months. A new girl from Marocco {marokinka?} has appeared. She feels bad/uncomfortable {vewaetsya?} in this house. Poor girl.

My imagination draws a scary picture of a dirty hole where young women live with insects and are forced to work as hairdressers for three months to prove their abilites. The surrounding conditions are so harsh that even a maroccan person (who is supposed to be tough) barely able to bear it. The author doesn't like the whole situation but believes she'll be okay in the end.

Doesnt sound nice. I think Ender has nailed it.

Perhaps Was is an abbreviation of "ñåé÷àñ" Ùàñ. If you look at the sentence above ewe = åùå. Maybe I'm wrong though.

I think tvarei refers to people in a derogatory sense, as cretins or bastards.

Here it goes:

I am fine, yet, I am still around this beasts. I am hoping that it's going to be over soon. They're putting me through a hairdressing course, however, I am bad at it. Nevertheless, If I hold on to it for three months and make best out of it, I will be able to take off. There is a new girl "marokinka" in the house. She is about to hang herself, poor thing...

It sounds to me that the girl writing this message is a resident of the Russian orphanage. That means that she is under age. (Under eighteen) She needs some serious help here.

Varrick, whoever you are, stay away from the girl.

Daria... not quite sure how you deduced that the person writing this message is a young girl, elaborate please.

The poster merely asked for a translation, without knowing the circumstances of this case, there is really no need to sensationalise.

Well, I do speak Russian, remember? The message above is pretty clear.

The person writing it is in distress. I am not "sensationalizing", the message is alarming.

Of course I remember Very Happy

So do I, and there is nothing concrete in the text to indicate conclusively that the author is female, or young, let alone under age. For all you know it may be somebodys grandparent.

Sorry but telling the OP that the author is in serious trouble, when the author clearly states that they are OK, albeit unhappy, and then giving unsolicited advice to "stay away" is, in my book, sensationalising.

nikir, is that a politically correct no prejudice politics ? The message clearly draws a picture of typical female immigrants enduring poor conditions that can still get much worse. Sure while someone is falling down everything is OK.

Politically correct? Nah, I'm not a big fan of it and think that PC has long outlived its usefulness.

No prejudice? Absolutely!

The text definately conjures up the images that have been picked up by some but lets not get hysterical about it.

The OP wanted a translation in a hurry. He got it. The rest is just conjecture.
