I have booked the aprtment Tsvetnoi Blvd for this September back in May after reading all the assurances of this website of lower prices, faster reply and backup in dealing with providers..... Well don't believe it.

My experience was that I booked the apartment and it was confirmed with the landlard in May. I sent $100USD via westernunion as a deposit which was acknowledged by the landlord and requested way of payment, this was confirmed on teh WTR aprtment link.

From this I have still yet to receive the actual address of the aprtment even though it is now mid August. So I sent message on WTR message system 3 weeks ago to ask about address, if they can assist with visa registration etc....... No response. So I sent another email 1 week later.....No response.

So reading the WTR apartment claims of "backup in dealing with providers" I sent emails to quality monitoring and to WTR support, thinking 24hour response time as indicated in website. Well guess what... No response, No backup, nothing at all.

So two days ago I receive a email informing me that seeing it has been 200 days since I booked apartment and seeing that landlord has not confirmed my booking- despite collecting deposit of $100usd and confirming on message system, my booking was to be cancelled in 3 days. So I wrote another email to the link in this WTR email explaining the situation and guess what........still no Response.

So my view on this situation is that this landlord is a scam, so is WTR website as they do not provide any backup whatsoever. I have written off $100 deposit + Western union fees as a waste of money and as far as I am concerned, WaytoRussia is complicit in this situation.

So as I result I have booked another aprtment in Moscow on another website which was cheaper in any case and much more professional than any of my dealings with WTR, for example they have responded to all emails within 24 hours.

pls give me the number of your order here and the contact details of the provider you sent the money to, and we'll deal with it.

way to russia is an information resource, we can't "scam" you even if we wanted to, because it's the advertisers offering their services, not us. the best we can do is to make sure they don't cheat the clients, and i'll help you if it's really the case.

all the companies we work with – we check them thoroughly, so it must be some sort of misunderstanding. but again, you'll get your money back. just give me the info.

Contacted them, waiting for reply.

I'd advise you to write to them directly and tell them you'll sue them if they don't get back within 3 working day and ask for a local tax office to check their accounting as well.
