Sport shoe spam posted on all folders that sits there for days without being removed. Repeatedly.

Yet another complaint about WTR connected apartment rentals gone unanswered.....for weeks.

Is anybody in charge of this website anymore?

I want to echo expat... this forum is becoming a garbage can for spam. And unfortunately, the web interface only lets me see the most recent few posts (no, I don't use RSS and don't want to). So when 10 or 12 spams come in, I can't even see the real posts.

If whoever administers this site is unable to add some anti-spam measures (we can suggest many, if you are interested), and doesn't log in often enough to keep the site clean...

Won't you please give 2 or 3 people like me (who check the site multiple times each day) the authority to delete spam messages, or at least to transfer them to a new "spam" category?

If the administration of this site doesn't change, I will give up on it.

we're working on a good solution.

i'll explain why it's not so easy.

this forum has a special modification that makes it being ranked by search engine very very high. that's why if you enter something here, esp. if it's something specific, it will appear on google within days. that's why it's useful. but because of this we can't just install any updates. because it will render all seo work worthless. that's why we're looking into how the spam bots behave and try to understand their behavior and write our own filters.

it's not fast, given that the site was under DDOS attack 2 weeks ago and that our developers are working on the new 2.(3.)0 version day and night.

but yeah, if you want to administer the forum – i can give you moderator privileges.
