Once I'm in Russia, if I am staying at a hotel, how long will it take for them to register my Visa? Will it be a day-long process, or an hour long, or a few minutes?
Also, I will be at the Sputnik hotel. |

| In Moscow it can be nearly instantaneous [have your 1 ruble/day fee ready!] or take half an hour if the registration person is on a break. In some outlying areas it can take a couple of days, but often your passport will be photocopied and given back to you right away. |
