Hello Nicola,

If you let me know what are you interested in (speaking about attending good places), your requirements or wishes for the apartments or hotels and provide me with other information about yourself, I'll be able to answer your questions and supply you with more detailed information.

The general information about Vladivostok you can find on our web page (English version, Links) www.csvlad.com

Good luck,
Marina

What would the procedure be to get from Petropavlovsk to Vlad or Khabarovsk?

This website has info on the prices from Korea to Vladivostok by ferry:

http://www.vostexp.vl.ru/english/ticket/ship.htm

Most ferries do go to Zarubino only.. but once a week there is also a ferry that goes all the way to Vladivstok. Roundtrip can be as low as $238 roundtrip for rock bottom accomodations on the boat - I'd imagine thats just sleeping on the main floors.

Anyhow, I'm in Korea now.. and I'm looking at the possibility of a week in Vladivostok at the end of August.

Its overwhelming with all this visa stuff, accomodation stuff, etc., etc.

Most travel agents in Korea only deal with flights.. so taking the boat seems to be a totally different type of fish!
