Hi all,
Im from colombia and im applying for a scolarship with the russian embassy here. I want to study Aerospace engeneering and have found on the internet 2 institutes that look good. One is MAI (Moscow Aviation Institute www.mai.ru) and the other one is MATI (Moscow Aviation Technological Institute www.mati.ru). I wonder if someone could tell me which one is the best....or if theres another one better than this two.

MAI ranks 20 places higher than MATI according to the russian technical universities rating (2003)

Another Q.
Is it hard to get into MAI? I´ve heard only 1 of 4 can get in.... is this true?

it's true concerning to the type of education... for russians who want to study for free it's really hard to get there, for students from abroad the situation is different.
