Hi,
one visa question: if travelling around with a tourist visa, does one risk to get into trouble if one is staying in other cities than the ones listed on the visa? Are there any strategies to follow/pitfalls to avoid? |

Tourist visas stopped listing the cities you would visit some years ago. A tourist visa is now good for anywhere/everywhere in Russia (apart from the few remaining 'closed' cities).
You'll have no problems - other than those that might come your way anyway  - with your tourist visa.
