|
|
| Okay, so we've reached the point in class where we do a lot of writing about different things (usually these are lengthy responses to a couple of questions but sometimes we have creative writings), and I can't help but wonder what kinds of grammatical errors Russian speakers frequently make in their writing. For example-- in English, I've noticed that more and more people have started using the apostrophe to indicate the plural (instead of using the -(e)s ending, people are now using -'s). This new habit annoys me to no end. Any ideas, so that I can avoid giving literate Russians heartburn? |
