|
|
I'm not looking for a job, but I am sort of planning my trip a year or two in advance. Just thinking things out.
My second major was Russian language, but I was never able to make it to Russia, so I'm absolutely not fluent. I'd like to travel around Russia for a few months, get a foundation of language going, and eventually look for a job.
The job I have in mind is a paramedic, but I have no idea what those are like in Russia. I know nothing of their regulations, or if they're all that common in smaller cities and towns. Would it even be possible for a foreigner to grab such a job? (Mind you, I'm already trained and have qualified under US national standards.) |

I think, you can take such kind of job. It is not problem in Russia, because nobody wants to work as a paramedic. Wages = about 100 dollars per month, in Moscow - till 200 dollars. VERY hard work and risk. |

| I think you'd have a better chance if you work as a paramedic in a private medical service. |

If you decide you want some work, contact me at kc7rcy@yahoo.com.
I need a russian speaking (not fluent) paramedic to work in Tajikistan. Pay is quite good. Must be state or NREMT-P.

Well I'm not going to be over in Russia for quite some time, but when I do head over there, I'd love to help if you'll have me. |
