If your friend is a young female -- forget it. She won't be given a tourist visa. So don't waste time and money, you *will* be disappointed. The only visa you will be able to obtain for her is a marriage visa. If you aren't planning to get married then she won't be coming to the US. I hate to be blunt but that's the deal. The marriage visa exists because of the fact they will not give tourist visas to young women from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, etc.
I could go on with more detail but that's the bottom line. |
