I am looking for a good map of Russia. Together with a friend we will be travelling through Russia starting next year and plan to spend a few moths there, most of the time in asiatic Russia.

We got so far a Freytag & Bernd map of Russia, however the asiatic part is at a scale of 1:8.000.000, which does not give enough detail.

Does anyone have a tip on where to get a good map ?

Thanks !

Hi Eva,

You could try to find a map on forehand, but it is much easier to get one in a bookshop in Russia. Last year we actually bought an atlas in the hall of a railwaystation and used it as our map, but their are loads of maps in bookstores. Do check the recensions available!
Good luck,

Wouter
