As for Canada, the same, I don't know this country but I wonder what Canadians could expect with such alliance.
The last point is Finland, Norway and Canada are real democracy with no corruption : the exact opposite of Russia.
I think the only common point between those countries is cold weather but it is not enough to build a serious relationship. |
There is a little more than cold weather that we have in common.
Economic Cooperation
The Canada-Russia Intergovernmental Economic Commission (IEC) is co-chaired by Canada's Minister for International Trade and Russia's Minister of Agriculture. Following up on discussions between Prime Minister Martin and President Putin in October 2004, the Canada-Russia Business Council (CRBC) was formally established in Moscow on December 17, 2004 by an agreement of the Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association (CERBA) and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).
Trade and Investment
Canada has significant interests in the resource extraction and processing sectors as well as in transportation equipment and food products. Canadian companies have been active in the Russian oil and gas sector for over 25 years. New areas of opportunity are in agricultural equipment, infrastructure and telecommunications.

Sorry I cut your post... too long.
Yes, you taugh us that Russia trade with Canada, that's right.
But which country do not trade with Russia ? Every country trade with the entire world.
China did massive investments in Tanzania, I don't think a Tanzanian has much in common with a Chinese.
I was talking about people relationships. Does any common University programs exist between Russia and Canada or Finland and Russia like you can easely find between any western European countries ?
Does a lot of cities in Canada are twinned with Russian cities ?
What about visa policy between Canada and Russia ? Any Canadian can travel to Norway or Finland or any western European countries without visa. What about a canadian who want to travel to Russia ? A bit more messy I guess.
And I don't talk about military cooperation... |

Wow, I beleived you didn't want to talk to me anymore ?
You know, everybody is the idiot of somebody but one thing is sure :
7 against 1 -> you are a coward
And the way you behave show that you are also a fachist. |

We need visas for Russia, but not for the Ukraine, and I think maybe a couple others. I know the post was long, but I needed to include it. Our relations with Russia are getting better and better all the time. And one of the reasons is that we have a measure of respect for each other. I will have to check on twin cities.
If China does massive investments with Tanzania, then yes they do have something in common, don't they. That is how relationships start. And we don't interfere with Russias internal afairs much at all, so things will only get better. Russia liked the fact that we refused to let America put missiles on our land, so that scored points as well. |

| I look at it as this if you go around beating people up then your day will come...violence begets violence...but rest assured there are a lot of people in this world who deserve what they get. If I saw someone stomping the flowers at a war memorial dedicated to the sacrifices of my bretheren...definitely I would be dishing out some thrashing...and if I got my ass beat in the process then I guess I messed with the wrong individual. Principles are something to stand our grounds on. I'm not saying people should be killed but good thrashings are are sometimes warranted. There was a recent article on the US soldiers in Afghanistan who salvaged a Russian War Memorial that had been wrecked...anyway the Americans rebuilt the memorial in honor of the downed Russian Pilots...out of respect for those who served. We need more of this in "our" world. If the Estonian was a scumbag who also beats people up well then hey he got what he deserved. If I was him I would have went and got my friends and came back and beat Sergie's Ass...Which doesn't make either of them right or wrong...but if you are going to partake in an ass whooping then be willing to accept what ever happens. All of us are responsible for our actions |

Well, like I said to Jo jo. I wouldn't beat someone for that. However, God killed thousands of first born Egyptian children, and wiped out entire cities, for the oppression of Hebrews, at the hands of Pharoah. I honestly don't think He gives a Rat's ass about a group of people who slaughtered millions of Jews, and then tried to deny that it ever happened. I'll take my chances with God. The fact that I do live in a tolerant society is all the more reason to run those creeps out of my country. |
