Hello, If I apply for a tourist visa and purchase an invitation from this website, do you have an office in St Petersburg, where I can register, if I want to stay with a friend and not in a hotel/hostel and I don't want to have to go to the immigration office?

If you (this website) don't have an office in St Petersburg where I can register, do you have any advice on how to find travel agents which do, which also have offices in london?

First of all, this website doesn't sell invitations, it's our advertisers who sell invitations. Smile

The company that provides invitations has an office in the center of St. Petersburg and they will be able to register you without any problems, no matter where you are staying. You won't have to go to the immigration office.

i presume that they will give me all the relevant information about how to do that, once i've made the purchase?

Sure, when you fill in the form for visa support on our site, they receive it directly, send you all information and payment directions. If you're happy, you fill in the payment authorization form, fax it back to them (for security they don't accept payments on the internet), they will charge you $30 US, and send the invitation by fax and e-mail within 24 hours.
