They are invisible up to the moment when they do something stupid.
For example two weeks ago I had to visit to a different than usual office of Sberbank because office near my home had some computer problem. So I went to the different office.
- I want to withdraw 2000 united states dollars from my account.
- clicking on the computer keyboard Here you are.
- What are you doing?  You are giving to me 2000 roubles (1 USD ~ 27 roubles). I don't need roubles, I need dollars.
- Oh. I'm sorry but we currently don't have necessary amount of dollars in the cashier's desk. We rarely perform any operations with dollars and we usually don't have dollars at all.
- But why did you give to me roubles? You are able to forewarn me about lack of cash, aren't you?
- If you don't like this I'll fix it. clicking on the computer keyboard Here you are.
- What have you done? You haven't canceled the operation but simply bought roubles back.
- Yes, I've put the money back to your account...
- Gr-r-r-r-r
I've lost about USD $5 because of this stupid girl. I thought to start a scandal but after a couple minutes of thinking I decided that my nerves worth more.
Be very careful in the Sberbank. Some of its clerks are stupid beyond imagination. |

When Brezhnev visited West-Germany the last time he drank a lot of local Doppelkorn and announced: this is the best vodka ever!
Well, I'm no expert on vodka. But Russian icecream is the best in the world. If you like creamy icecream. And I like kvass more than coke. |
