Just watched the Long way round in which McGregor and Boorman travel around the world on a motorcycle.
I must say that the sights were amazing and work effort to get to Magalin was just amazing. But I was upset about the shooting of the bear just for its gall bladder and skin. Poaching of animals for a small profit is not a good thing. It was amazing the difference in attitude from Alaska to Russia with Wildlife.
Russian spirit to get through hardest rivers and roads was incredible. You hear American complain what they think is poor roads and you see what the Russians overcome is amazing.
The history of the Road of Bones was amazing and shocking. I wonder how far Russia would be if they did not purge its army and murder many of its intellectuals like Stalin did. |
