Please.

I know this is a lot to ask for, but could somebody write all the possible pronuctiations of each letter. Or provide a good link, the links I have give the two common, stressed and unstressed.

However, I know O can be pronounced O as in cot, or A as in hat, but sometimes I've seen it i as in nit, which surprised me.

I know a lot of letters are pronuced differently whether stressed or unstressed and I know that there is only one stressed letter per Russian word, does this stress always hapeen the first time the letter is introduced, the rest unstreessed, so the first time you see O in a Russian word it is as in cot, thereafter any other O will be as in hat. Or is the stress dependant on meaning and context.

And does anybody know a good gramma site - I'll shut up now.

Looks like you need a good textbook. If you can find a good one with accompanying audio tapes/CDs, they help a lot.

Yes, there is only 1 stress per word, so the letter o will br pronounced as the o in 'cot' if that o is stressed, and all the other 'o's in the word are unstressed a in 'hat'. The stress doesn't neccessarily happen in the beginning of the word. (example молоко --stress is on the final o 'malako') There are some finer points in pronouncation and finding out stress, but I don't really understand them either (not really good a pheonetic alphabet!) so I just memorize them and some words have prefixes/suffixes that are stressed in a similar way.

Try to find a book written in the linguistic point of view to explain stress and pronouncation. I'm sure that would explain things better than I can.
