| Can anyone advise me on where I can order a train ticket which will take me from Krakow, Poland going to either Dimitrovgrad which is the city I need to go to or to Ulyanovsk region in general. I need to be in Dimitrovgrad on 29th December if possible and will return to Krakow on 4th January. I have searched so much but can't find any help or advice and I am panicking since I there is only 4 weeks left! Surely there is a service even if it goes from somewhere else in Poland such as Warsaw. If I could have a telephone number of someone that can help, I would be extremely grateful. |

Very simple 
Planes, buses or trains.
If you need in train use the next way.
Krakow - Moscow to Belorusski railway station, than get a taxi to Kazanski railway station and buy there a ticket to Dimitrovgrad (KBSH). There are 7 trains to this city, but one of them is regullary. It is number 22. Departure from Moscow at 17-20 and arrival at Dimitrovgrad at 11-37 next day - 18 hours in the way. Tickets are from 30 to 70 dollars.
But! there are no any tickets at 29 Dec. Consider since 25 till 31 Dec there are no train tickets at all. Use http://www.matisse.ru/railway/avail.asp?TrainNo=022%C9&DepartCod=2000000&ArriveCod=2024683&MonthFrom=12&DayFrom=29&Depart=%CC%EE%F1%EA%E2%E0&Arrive=%C4%E8%EC%E8%F2%F0%EE%E2%E3%F0%E0%E4+%CA%C1%D8 to check them.
Advice you to use a plane from Moscow to Ulyanovsk and then a bus to Dimitrovgrad. Avia tickets are more expencive and there are much tickets at these dates. |
