What's the best time of the year to be visiting Moscow? How cold does it get in winter times? I'm not an 'only hot weather person', i don't mind the cold, only if its not extreme.

| Seems to hover between 0 and -10 (maybe -15) for most of winter. But there's usually a few colder weeks, most likely around late January or early February. The latter half of autumn and first half of spring will usually be between 0 and 10. In my opinion the best time to visit is the middle of summer... |
