dear masteradmin,
i checked the air tickets links on your website.
as far as i know the one way ticket to mumbai (bombay) costs around 350$ while return tickets costs 550$ approximately....i was hoping for a good bargain on your site...
when i checked one way ticket to mumbai for aeroflot for economy class it showed "Moscow (MOW) - Mumbai (BOM)
One way fare: $ 675 (+ airport taxes) "
its more than return ticket !!!!!!!!
why so much disparity?
thanks

I have found that sometimes a one-way airline ticket can be more expensive than a return ticket to the same destination. Another reason for an increase in price could be that peak travel season is beginning, and airline tickets cost more around the globe. As for your specific travel plans, I cannot offer any advice. Perhaps the admin can provide more details. Good luck! |

Amit where are you from (i mean, right now?)
Right now, Moscow-Bombay tickets cost much less than what u read on the site.. there are many different options, esp if you are not very particular abt flying only with Aeroflot. In case you are not from Moscow, then i dont know how u cud make use of other offers... U are looking only for a one-way ticket? |

hi katya.thanks for reply...right now i am in st.petersburg...i plan to go to bombay (mumbai) at september end or at the beginning of october....as far as i know the only cost effective flight from moscow is aeroflot.....but the rates shud be around 300$ as far as i know for one way ticket...and ya i want one way ticket....
second option is st.petersburg to delhi (uzbeckistan airlines) which costs around 280$ for one way ticket.
i dont want to travel by lufthansa/british airways/klm ...they are too costly.
thanks

Amit, unfortunately it is quite hard to get a good deal with a major airline from Russia. As I remember in India it was much easier to get a cheaper ticket.
The airline tickets on our site are designed to be suitable for majority of people, who normally take return trips, so that's why it might be more expensive to fly one way.
If you want to save money, I could advise you to use some of CIS airlines (Uzbek airlines etc.) or contact Aeroflot directly. Perhaps, as a student, you can get a discount as well. Also try STAR agency (Sindbad travel in St. Petersburg). |
