| I need to get a ride for 3 in a private car from Irkutsk to Olkhon. Any idea who I can approach to book such a ride? |

| Are you sure you need a private car? I was informed that one can catch a bus out there, if required. |

| Now there is a minivan for 12 people leaving Irkutsk daily at 10 am for Olkhon island. Tickets are available at the bus station 7 days in advance. Ask someone to buy tickets for you or you will end up hiring a private car which can cost you 3000-4000 Rub. |

i found this city bus schedule here:

and I am told that with bagguage is fine.
Hope this kind of city bus doesn't need to buy 7 days in advance......??
