I have recently received a quote from Andrei in Grint tours for a train ticket from ikutusk to Moscow first class which is very reasonable. All other quotes I received were really pricey and I was wondering if anyone has used Grint tours before? I need to confirm very soon and unsure whether I should part with my money?
Please help. |

| Grint is ok. They're not going to steal your money. |

I have been reading so much visa requirement stuff that I am now confusing myself. so can anyone just bear with me and read what I have to say and perhaps confirm with me?
I will be arriving at Irkutsk from Ulan batoor so my russian visa will start as soon as I arrive at Irkustk right? So I have to do all that registration stuff with an agency or hotel?
When I leave to go to Moscow and St P its the same process again i.e. registration.
So I really need to look into an agency or hotel accomadation that will give me a tourist invitation for the time I will be in the Irkustk, Moscow and St P. And my visa will need to state exactly dates and locations of where I will be until I depart from Russia? Am I making sense?? |

| If you have a one month visa (tourist) then you have to exit Russia some time before or on the last day stated on the visa...and you cannot enter Russia prior to the affective date or the first day your visa is valid. So any time in between those dates you can enter and leave. Next you can visit what ever cities you want as long as they are listed on your migration card, and you only need to register in a city if you are going to be there for more than 3 days...but be sure and resgister at least once during your visit. |

Has anyone corresponded with Andrei at Grint tours recently? I have sent him emails but they bounce right back?
I need to book and confirm a ticket from Irkutsk to Moscow on train 9.
Does anyone know whether it will be possible to buy this ticket from Ulan Batoor or on arrival to Irkutsk? I need to finalise details of my trip so please help. |

That can be a problem with Grint. They have good prices and can get any ticket but their communication can be poor. Try calling them or contacting them on another email. Contacts here:

You might be able to buy your ticket in Irkutsk. But the train might be sold out as well. |

| Thanks for that. They replied but quoted me the wrong price but I will take the chance and confirm the ticket with them. |
