| I like Russian music, and I'll go to Moscow in June, I know many rock groups playing in red square to conmemorate The Day Of Russia (independance day), anybody knows about this year? |

If there's anything going on in the area of Red Square, you can be sure there will be enough militsia present to put out any potential fun.
The last couple of years whenever there are public events in that downtown area, they pick up all the street kiosks, install numerous barriers and metal detector gates, prohibit the posession of any kind of alchoholic beverage, and staff downtown with thousands of militsia. Pretty much kills the fun factor.
We stay away from those events anymore. It's more like being in an outdoor jail. |
