Hi,
I'm planning a one-way train journey from Beijing to Moscow (with as many stopovers as I'd like to) next August, and I'd like to know if I will be able to buy the train tickets directly in the cities I will pass through.
I heard that it's cheaper to buy it "on the ground" than through a European travel agency ; but I heard also that in August it's really hard to get a ticket without a reservation...
And, I'd like to stop whenever and wherever I want on my way to Moscow, without knowing it in advance...
