Hi,
Does anybody know whether you can take dogs on the Trans-Siberian? It is not a seeing eye dog or anything like that, but a pet. I am hoping to get from Beijing thru Mongolia and across Russia via train as I move back west, and have always wanted to take the Transiberian, but would need to bring my pup with me! Any news on this would be much appreciated, thanks! |

Small dogs travel in cages ( containers ); not allowed in 2-berth compartments and 'comfort coach' (**); veterinary certificate required. Containers are placed in standart luggage location.
Big dogs are allowed to travel in separate 4-berth compartment, paying for all 4 berths. Again, not allowed at all in 'comfort coach' and 2-berth.
