Hello:
I will be traveling to Gubkin Russia next week for business. Does anyone have anything they can tell me about Gubkin? I have never been to Russia and can use any information you might have. The Way toRussia sight has been very helpful with respect to Visas and general information Thank you Jonathan |

| All I know about Gubkin is that it is one of the largest iron-ore mining basins in Russia. Is it a purpose of your business trip, Moe? Otherwise, it's a very small urban town with something like 75 thousand people living in it. |

I am helping to commission an iron ore plant. LGOK everyone seems to know who "LGOK" is. I guess it is an adventure to get to. Must fly to Stary Oskal then get 3 hour car ride. I'm looking forward to it!! Jonathan |

| I am back from my trip to Gubkin Russia. I spent months there. I throughly enjoyed it. I have a new respect for the Russian people. I made many friends. The town of Gubkin is beautiful and was voted prettiest city in Russia. Not only is the city pretty but the people are too. There is much to do there. There is a great "Disco Bar" and an internet cafe that actually is a pizza joint. There are two hotel in town the "Ruda" which is a "public hotel" and the ledbed which is pretty much run by LGOK. The food in Russia is outstanding. I found the food better than in the USA. The Russian people are certainly a "CLASS PEOPLE". I encourage everyone to visit Russia and find out for themselves what a great place it is. Gubkin would be a wonderful place to raise a family. They have a beautiful park pleanty of grocery stores and nightlife. I would sure like to upload my pictures and show everyone!!! Thanks to Way To Russia for getting me prepared to go. ....Jonathan |
