| You're right Surf about competing for jobs...I find that it's always the migrant that is working in the kitchen or sweeping..someone has to do the job, if not how is society going to manage? If the few Russians that do not like their immigrants taking jobs then take their jobs and do what you think that you do best if that is cooking, selling produce, sweeping etc...How many Tajiks, Armenians, Kazahs, Chechens are CEO's in Moscow or St. Petersburg? I don't know it's an honest question. |

| well...too if there is crime involved then that is a huge problem...and with any immigrating people...crime follows. So many Russians have come to the US and with them came the mafia! |

I can't tell you ethnical groups individually, but I do know that moscow has around 3 million Muslims. |

| Having Muslims in Moscow good or bad? Are young people involved with Russian Orthodoxy, do they go to church? I'm just curious..never been to Moscow or Russia, however, will be going soon to Kazan. |

Migrants work those jobs because they accept lower wages, plain and simple. |

no what I am saying is...a tajik comes to russia because he can earn more money there...than in tajikistan...same as here in the USA...workers come here so they can make $5.00 an hour verses the $1 a day where they are from...both wages are shit...don't get me wrong...still one is better than the other. In costa rica...the avergae salary of a field worker is $1.50 a day. A young traveling student/young person can expect to make that an hour working at a cafe...but cost of living is cheap there too. (just an example) Ok most people who leave thier homelands...do so for a better life...and these people usually are un skilled...illiterate and often times criminal. Lets face it...when you are doing well and have money...and have a goof family life...why would you leave? I can see if your job dictates this and sends you abroad...or you marry to a foriegner...but I am talking about people who are desperate...the ones who do things illegally...with them often times comes trouble.
Anyway I talked to numerous people...in Uzebekistan, Kyrgistan, Turkmenistan, and all wanted to go to Russia for jobs and a better life. The Georgians I talked to all wanted to stay in Georgia and make it a better place...hope there for sure...same with Khazakstan-Borat obviously had never been to Almaty. Anyways...people will do what ever is necessary for more money. Well except me  |

This is pretty bad. I would not want to make a comparison. We have plenty of skinheads where I am from and recently had a gruesome hate crime towards a 4 year old latino boy. I just think those skinheads have dug into their pea brains while shaving their heads. They are ignorant.
I have no sympathy towards skinheads. They are not of human form. They are the devils advocates. |

The comparison shouldn't be done between skinheads, a skinhead is a skinhead no matter the country they are coming from.
The difference is there :
sentence you get from Justice for the murder of a child (from any origin) :
in USA : death
in Europe : 30 years in a jail
in Russia : 5 years in a jail, may be less (if the child is non Russian of course) |
