Ask me - I'm a Russian and I live in Canada 
I can say they don't think something negative about anybody till this "anybody" begins to competes with them in something. I guess Canadians and Mexicans do the same. |

I can say they don't think something negative about anybody till this "anybody" begins to competes with them in something. I guess Canadians and Mexicans do the same. |
Yes, the Russians are very competitive. lol That is why our (Soviet) Olympic athletes were the first ones in the world to use steroids! Hehe! As far as Canadians, most Russians are fine with Canadians. It's Americans who still summon some bitterness in many Russians, because of the outcome of the Cold War. Between Russians and Americans right now, it's like what was between the French and the Germans after World War I. |

I think, in our countries, it's tough to make it when you're lazy. Probably why we are both fairly proud people. Also makes you competitive. The best games I've see are hockey, between Russia, and Canada. I think it would be really nice to have closer ties to Russia. There are some differences of opinion on things, but a happy medium is possible. Russia, and Canada, working together could be a real power, with all our natural resources. Neither of us cares to play favourites in the world, we generally like to mind our own business, and neither of us likes being poked at.  |
