So, it is your position that Canadian pronunciation is the same as British pronunciation?? Interesting. Perhaps you should get out more. Talk to people.

Also, I'm not sure what your car has to do with this thread. I will mention (gently, as I'm not sure that you will handle this very well) ... a piece of plastic crap made by General Motors will never be confused with a Ferrari (or any "sports car", for that matter). I'll bet the moose can tell the difference. Talk to her.

Try to follow along. I asked you to pronounce those three sets of words. It's a bit tough for you, I know. I called you idiot in an offhand remark. You didn't have to come back and verify it with yet another stupid statement. Laughing
Now that I think about it, StephenB is right. It is better to learn Canadian English. It doesn't have ridiculous words like petrol, lorry, bonnet, crikey. I wonder if you realize how ignorant you sound when you say them. Goes back to your inbreeding I guess.
You sure seem to love ungulates. Perhaps you should seek help for your beastiality fetish. I guess having no unit is really starting to affect your mind. Maybe stick with fighting the boy for the remote control. To use one of your own ridiculous words, you are about as smart as an air biscuit.
I do agree with you on one point. Comparing a Fiero to a Ferrari is like comparing you to a man. You and the Fiero are both a little lacking in the equipment department. You just don't measure up.
BTW, like so many others in your life, I don't really care what you say about pretty much anything, although your little dog bark is quite funny. Keep up the good work. I guess you are like a superhero over there.

Yeah, ok. Again, what Russian wouldn't want to learn to speak like that? That would be so helpful to them in the real world.

Well, they can always learn a Cockney dialect, then for sure they'll fit in the world. What happened with the mullet pic of you bc? Is that you in this pic?

British English is what most foreigners want to learn. That's a fact. The accents throw people off when they are trying to learn. So they want the basic English language. Which is UK or Canadian. Perhaps Hong Kong as well. No, it's not me in the pic. I just thought it was a cool pic. Change is good.
Do you not see my point about learning English? You'd want to learn the purest form of it, wouldn't you? I really like a southern accent, but, other than in the south, it's not a useful form of English.

Ok BC which is it then...the UK version or the British version? Because it seems like you are just starting to flame here in your responses to Crabman. And you certainly are contridicting yourself

That's odd, because from where I sit, it's you, who appears to be flaming, James. Why don't you tell us the difference between UK and British English? I'd sure like to hear that one.
BTW, it's spelled "contradicting" Looks like you could use a course or two. Otherwise, perhaps you should follow your own ( and the Moderators) advice, and mind your own conversations? Why don't you use your magic wand and erase all my posts? Laughing

Great Britain = UK

Actually "Britain" (the British call it "Brittany" to make the difference) is a part of France.

UK = England + Scotland + Whales + Northern Ireland

There is no part of UK called Brittain technically or not.

I can see how some people might not know that Great Britain and the UK are considered the same thing, but I had a girl ask me if London would be considered part of the UK Shocked I explained that, yes, since it's the capital of England, it would.

I don't know which is more shocking, the London question or the fact that another woman at work tried to tell me that Egypt wasn't part of Africa Exclamation I work at a pretty nice consulting company, so that's just outright scary.
