I would like to spend more than 30 days in Russia, and so I am applying for a Business Visa invitation (for tourism purposes). There are business related fields on the Long-Term (Business) Russian Visa Support Application page. What should I put for:

* Name of organization you are visiting
* Address of organization you are visiting
* Phone number of organization you are visiting
* Full name of representative (contact person) of the organization you are visiting

And what should I answer for this question? "Tourism"?
* Please DESCRIBE the purpose of your trip

I filled in the visa invitation form, but the site would not accept the date I entered for first entry into Russia.

I am going to apply for tourist visa from Russian Consulate in Saudi Arabia in order to meet my fiancee in Russia. On Russian Consulate in Saudi Arabia website, it mentioned that "The hotel must be paid in full for the entire duration of the visa." Is it a signed & stamped itinerary?

Specifying travel visa dates vs accommodation dates

I am looking to apply for a tourist visa to Russia by myself with the aid of this websites information.

I wish only to go for approximately 12 days but I would like to be flexible so I wish to apply for dates that span for as much as 25 days.

I understand that when I can complete the invitation visa information and the subsequent online visa application form that I need to provide hotel/hostel names and locations as well as expected days of transit. Nothing as yet is booked of course as I'm waiting for the entire application to be successful and as I plan on going to a couple of other places beforehand and wish to remain flexible there also my actual entry date may vary by up to a week.

As per this websites tips for filling out the application I can choose a hotel from a list and say I'm staying there and later change my mind but my question is should I provide information showing me having accommodation booked for say a full 25 day period or just a 12 day period but still ask for a 25 day or so window?

Visa Support questions; arriving via cruise

We will be arriving in St. Petersburg on a cruise on July 18 and leaving on July 19. We don't want to do the organized tours through the cruise company. We want to get a tourist visa and see the city independently. We will sleep on the ship.

I assume we need a multiple entry visa and we will have to go through immigration each time we leave and return to the ship. Is this correct?

On the request form for visa support (for multiple entry), it is asking for travel dates (1st entry, 1st exit, 2nd entry, and 2nd exit). I'm a little unclear on how exactly I should do this. Should I complete it like this:

Entry 1: July 18
Exit 1: July 18
Entry 2: July 19
Exit 2: July 19

I am confused if this is the way to do it or a single entry would suffice simply with an Entry date of July 18 and exit date of July 19.

On your website, it states that visa support providers will contact me after I make the payment of $30, and I will have their contact. No one contacted me after 36 hours passed since the payment, I checked the spam box as well. I have been receiving other e-mails, so the problem is not with my e-mail.

We plan to be in Russia somewhere during the last week of August 2017. We are not sure of the exactdates as we will be travelling from kazakhstan into Russia and getting into Mongolia before getting back into Russia (ulan ude) through land borders before exiting from st Petersburg. Some questions -

1. Do you provide Business LOI for 3 months double entry into Russia for Indians residing in India and what will be the cost for the same?
2. How long would it take to get the LOI?
3. Since we suspect that one month tourist visa will be less / cutting it too close, we want to apply for the 3 month business visa. What do you recommend?

A UK citizen has a valid tourist Russian visa for the period from 22 to 31 of October. However, due to objective circumstances he has to reschedule his visit for November. Is it possible to apply now for another tourist visa for the period of 14-21 of November when he still has a valid visa in his passport or should he wait until the expiration of his current visa and apply after 31 of October?

Hello,

After many talks with the Russian Embassy here in DC. I am applying for a Russian Tourist visa and am going to purchase a visa support letter (invitation letter) for my visa application. However, Myself and my friend are NOT staying in Russia. We booked a round trip flight from DC-Moscow for this August. However, we then purchased a round trip flight from Moscow-Athens. We will be "laying over" in Moscow for 16 hours. We thought we would qualify for the Transit visa but unfortunately, we do not and are required a Tourist visa.

If I am NOT actually staying in Russia, how will I register within the 3 days? Do I even need to register since I will only be in the airport for 16 hours? I will have to return to Moscow a week later but only to catch another flight back to DC?

I am taking a 9 week language course in September, so my language institute is providing support for the duration of the program. After the 9 weeks, however, I am planning on taking the Trans-Siberian railway from Moscow to Vladivostok—a trip which will take about a week.

Is it possible to obtain support for that extra week under a tourist visa support letter, combine it with a study support letter, and apply for a single visa for the duration of my stay in Russia (less than 90 days), such as a humanitarian visa?

I have a friend in Kaliningrad who wants to host me for a trip there in October - she is applying for a homestay visa for me. The problem is, she's a huge procrastinator and dragging her feet like crazy. I'm hoping I can just get the invitation from her, and then expedite my visa with the Washington DC consulate so I can fly as planned in October. But just in case she takes too long and drags her feet more, I was going to try and obtain a tourist visa as a backup. So my confusion lies in lodging and registration. I am OK with booking a hotel for say a couple of nights so I can be registered, etc., but I'm hoping that I'd have some freedom of movement after that and be able to just stay with my friend since it would be more convenient and cheaper. I'll only be there for 2 weeks, but booking a hotel for 2 weeks that I'm not going to stay at seems like a huge waste of money. I read that after my time at the hotel is up, I'll have to be registered again wherever I'm staying, and that having a private person register me may cause some problems. I'm combing the internet and finding no answers. So what I'm wanting to know, in a nutshell, is how do people travel independently in Russia without having to book a hotel the entire stay, and how does one go about registering themselves again after their stay at the hotel is over?

I am having difficulties with acquiring an invitation, support letter for a 12 month business visa.
While proceeding on this very website (12 months multi-entry; 21 working days; no telex; 139$ model) I am being asked about the company I am going to visit plus phone number and name of contact person.

However, I am not aware of these business opportunities yet. To explore them is what my business visa is meant for.

Does anyone here have some ideas or suggestions please.

My initial thoughts were that I will be provided with such company on the invitation. But seemingly not.

Malfunction on your Business visa support page

Hi,

Several times today I have tried to apply for support documents for a 30-day single-entry Business visa on your site. After selecting the 7 day delivery opinion at $125, I have completed the entire form. Upon clicking Submit, it keeps rejecting the submission because it says that the email address has not been entered, but it has been entered and it is correct.

I have had to find another service, but it would be good for the future if you fix this bug.

BTW... My browser in Google Chrome.

I am curious about a few things:

1. How long is the processing time normally? I have already had 5 tourist visas to the same place I will be going with the business visa
2. At the moment, I don't have an actual company I have to work for. I am an English teacher and I am going there to study russian and figure out if there is a market for teaching english.
What should I put in the "Traveller Employment Information" section and/or the organization I will be working with. If worst comes to worst, I have a company will to take me on there.

Business Visa for 12 months

I am an American student who is planning to study in Russia, and my situation is a little complicated: I have been accepted to study the Russian language in Petersburg from June 20 to August 15 this summer, and I am waiting on the results for my application for an archival research grant in Russia from September to May afterwards--but I wont know if this application would be successful until April. If I receive the grant, I would like to travel to Russia for June 2016 to May 2017 (June to August-- language, September to May--research). But, if I don't receive the grant, then I would like to only go from June to August. And so I am trying to decide what I should apply for, in order for these options to work.

I was thinking that I should apply for a 12-month single or double entry visa (this will be my first trip to Russia, so I can't apply for a multi-entry visa, right?). But, I couldn't find that option on this site: http://waytorussia.net/Services/VisaSupport/Business.html?Submit=Get+It+Online+Now
If I can't apply for the 12 month, would it be possible to renew the visa or apply for two visas (the 3 month single-entry visa followed by a 12 month multi-entry?).

Essentially, this trip is actually two trips: language study (June to August), and research (September to May). The former is assured, and the latter is still up in the air.

Regarding invitations, are they to be provided by the institutions that I will affiliated with, or by the places where I will be living (landlord or hotel)?

If the institutions, should the language institute (for the first part of the trip (May to August) provide the invitation? The latter (research) will be at GIII (State Institute of Art History at St. Petersburg); should they provide the invitation?

Should I receive the research grant, I would like to do research in both Petersburg and in Moscow. Do I need separate invitations and do I need to register for both cities?

EDIT: Since the chances of receiving the research grant are pretty slim would the following work:

Feb/Mar: Apply for VISA to study language and to do a little research from May to August (3 month business visa).

April: I will receive news of the research grant. If I receive it: apply for a 12 month business visa to do research in Petersburg and Moscow from September to May. If I don't receive the grant: I won't apply for the second visa.

I think that this is a better plan than what I mentioned above, do you think that this could work?

When I tried to complete your request form, I got an error, because I was returning to Moscow. Do I not need to list Moscow a second time, even though it is a different hotel? Please advise.
