I would like to apply for a Russian visa support document and visa. My mother is hospitalized in St. Peteresburg, Russia and I may need to travel there as she is in critical condition. I'm waiting on medical reports, but would like to go ahead and get the visa process started. The visa support application asks for specific travel dates. What should I put on those dates? Should I wait until we decide that we are going?

Hi. I am planning to visit St. Petersburg by car, entering from either Latvia or Estonia, and leaving to Finland. Can your letters of invitation cover such a trio. Do I have to specify the entry and departure points before getting the invitation or the visa?

Do you have any recommendations on the best entry and departure points? A highway to travel on?

Staying in a dormitory without being a student

Hello!

I am going to Russia (Saint-Petersburg or Moscow) this summer for an internship (on a student visa). Since I am on a tight budget and want to meet new people, I'd like to stay in a student dormitory (obshezhitie). But is this possible without being a student of SPBGU or MGU? Perhaps there are many free rooms since it is summer time?

If this is not possible, does anyone has any tips for finding a (cheap) place to stay?
