| I brought a Gerber multi tool which contained a knife to Russia a few years ago. Just keep it in your checked luggage and not your carry on. |

| If Customs won't let you bring your pocket knife in, you can buy everything from Bowie knives to switchblades at vendor stalls near Metro stations. Kitchen cutlery and Swiss Army Knives, almost any knife you could want is available. |
