Hi,

I am going to Russia tomorrow and was planning on going to Sochi. I have a Sochi-Moscow flight booked and I was thinking of going by train to Sochi from Moscow sometime next week.

Do I need to apply for a separate visa? (if yes, its too late now:( ) During the visa invitation, I did not put Sochi as one of my destinations. Will that be a problem? I am an Indian national.

Thanks a lot for any advice on this Smile

Your existing visa to enter Russia will still be valid for Socchi, however if you're planning to stop there long you may find visa registration to be impossible if it's not one of the cities mentioned on your invitation...

In reality by law i believe Tourists allowed to Russia can travel anywhere, it's those stupid cops. U can't believe how they fuck up Russian citizens people living without registrations, they are trying to take them to stations and ask you for Bribe. I'm Russian citizen living without registration and cops always try to ask a bribe from me for not having registration claiming it's illegal, when it's 100 % legal. Also if cops stops you, you tell them you are from Olympic committee Smile And if you really have to check up with Russian Officials everyday, just give them a bribe... Even great Russians writers say, Russian that doesn't take a bribes anymore, is a dead Russian Smile))))
