| I would love to do the Trans Mongolian train trip at the end of August..Any tips please..Are stop overs permitted.>.If so where do you recommend.?.Ive so many questions any tips would be appreciated on how to make the best out of this trip..Thanks all |

| You would have to buy separate tickets for each "portion" of the way. The greatest stops are Ekaterinburg (1 day is enough for sight-seeing the center), Novosibirsk (1 day), Krasnoyarsk (1-2 days, there's a good national park "Stolby"), Irkutsk (leave at least 6 days, so you can visit Olkhon island at lake Baikal), Ulan-Ude (a very interesting town with "asian" feel and buddhist temples). |
