| It seems like winter is never gonna end... we just had a huge blizzard on my island, avalanches are still in place too... And it's April... almost... it should be warm and green... |

I spent half of december and half of january in St Petersburg and it snowed maybe 12 of the 30 days I was there. I was a bit upset it didn't snow enough. Love the stuff cause it dont ever snow where I am. Loved the sub zero temperatures as well. Get sick of the constant heat here in Aussie and loved the change to the cold weather for a change. My missus reckoned I was mad cause she hates the cold |

| My feelings exactly were I live. Although the climate is very pleasant right now . . . it won’t last much longer when this place becomes a blast-furnace from June through next Autumn. We’ve had huge snowfalls in the higher elevated areas and mountains over the past couple of months. Went up there in late January and it looked fantastic. The snow was stacked heavily on top of every limb of every pine tree you could see. Had a great time playing in the stuff - quite a contrast to life in the lower desert areas. I hope to see the same when I finally visit Russia, if I ever travel there sometime in the winter or spring. Unfortunately it won't be during a summer visit I might be making. |
