Hello, do any of you know what the longest Russian word is?
Also, is Sheremetyeva 2 better than Domododeva airport in Moscow?
Thanks

Domededovo is a much newer airport. Most people prefer it to Sheremetyevo.

Sheremetievo is a nightmare...
Never use this airport. You'll hate Russia after coming here through this airport )) |

Cheers to all of your replies, but this means what exactly??
Водогрязеторфопарафинолечение
Will I be judged favourably if I attempt to speak Russian, even out of a phrase book when I go? (I'm 15 and am learning it at school).
Cheers everyone.....!!

You're not exactly right
I've never heard word обороноспособность in context concerning to the football team. And I used to watch football quite often.
It is often used like this: обороноспособность государства обеспечивается ракетами дальнего действия - ability to defend of some country is provided by the long range missiles |

You're also right
I've just wanted to say that it's correct, but not common. And I said it just by my experience of watching football matches and reading newspapers... |

| Sherementyevo 1 and 2 are both nightmares. Well, comming out isn't so bad, but trying to leave thru one.... damn. If you have to travel thru it, just be prepared to go through about 18 million security checks. |

| Sorry a bit off topic but my favourite long word is a Welsh town name it is Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, in English it means -The church of St. Mary in the hollow of white hazel trees near the rapid whirlpool by St. Tysilio's of the red cave - |
