i am trying to figure out which time is best to travel on transiberian (Vladivostok to Moscow). that is is it better to do in the end of august, beginning of september ? or is it better (more excentric) to do it in winter, (i bet it is funky ! but we're young !!) that is around new year or next easter...
has anyone got any idea about that ?
cheers, |

| I have been to Baikal in January and April, I'd recommend winter, the forests around Baikal are stunning covered in snow and frost, plus you can hire a skidoo which is great fun. There was still snow and the lake was still frozen in April but looking out across Baikal in a snow storm will be in my memory forever . |
