| Hello, I am Michael. 28 years. Speak Swedish and English. I am looking for work, and also I plan to make Russia my home. Plan to learn Russian as soon as possible. How easy is it to find work for English-speaking people? I have experience in telemarketing and customer care. Interested in this or maybee something new. |

My honest opinion is: learn Russian first, then go! Best for you is to try to find a job/volunteer via cimo or some other program or agency. Perhaps the Swedish embassy/consulate in Russia could offer you some kind of office-work, that only requires a little Russian. Probably they need someone to do visa's for Russian tourists. But believe me, you are in a mess in Russia if you don't know the cyrillic alphabet (every street name and all singns are written only in Russian) and don't have even the very basic knowledge of the language. Sorry, but I really doubt that you could survive with only your English, unless you have a reliable and trust-worth friend who speaks lovely Russian, knows everything about the country and volunteers kindly to help you in every single little thing. |
