Has anyone taken the ferry from S. Korea to Russia before? I know there is a ferry that goes travels the East Sea (Sea of Japan) to Zarubino but how do I get from Zarubino to Vladivostok? How far is it?
Also, how easy is it to buy train tickets westbound along the way in October/November? Will it be busy?
Please help.

According to
http://www.berkutdv.ru/napr_transport_term.php
and multiple news articles dated this year, this ferry route was extended to Vladivostok - it departs from Zarubino after arrival from Korea and arrive to Vladivostok 5 hours later.
There are bus routes from Zarubino to Vladivostok connected to ferry arrival.
I think there will be no difficulties with train tickets in late autumn. |
