I need to find a female (sorry guys!) American (preferably) to live in a Moscow, Russia, suburb for at least a year and teach the two daughters of a Russian family. The girls are 4 and 12, all the family members speak English, you can live with them in a seperate building on their property and have night and weekends free when you want them, 2 weeks paid vacation per year, and we'll help you work out your visa. This is absolutely a legit offer. I've been working for them for 2 1/2 years and I'm only quitting at the end of November because I want to move home to the States to be with my own family again. I'm homesick after living in Russia 5 years.
You'd be paid well (starting from $3, 000 USD/month, negotiable) and the family will even hire a Russian teacher for you if you'd like to learn the language.
We're looking for someone with a great love and understanding of children, a love of and interest in foreign cultures, and a degree in English or something similar would be great!! The job is 9-6, lunch provided, you'll get a nap every day, and lots of time outside.
If you're interested, please write to me and tell me why. Tell me all about yourself. Obviously, since this is a family, private, and not a recruitment agency, references will be required and checked, we'll do a background check (we hope you understand), and we'll need to meet you in person. I'll fly to meet you in the States for the inital interview. Candidates will then meet the mother of the family for an interview, and, if approved, will then meet at least one of the daughters. Your flight to Russia would be paid for, of course, as would your return flight at the end of your contract period.
The position opens December 1st, but there will be two weeks before that when you'll live in your new temporary home, work with me, and get to know the kids and how we work.
I'm ready to answer any and all questions from anyone interested.

Hi Sarah,
My names Bonnie I am a 27 yr old nanny from New Zedaland. I am interested in this position or working in Russia as a nanny. I have been nannying for about 7 1/2 yrs and back in NZ now after my stint abroad. I'm itching to get back overseas. Is it difficult to get a russian work visa? I am neither qualified nor have a degree - currently studying for a bbs.
Cheers Bonnie |
