|
|
hello,
I have some questions about the tourist visa (I will apply for in person at the new york consulate) and I couldnt find any information online....
Online I see two different versions of the Form 95 for non-US Citizens. one has the photo in the upper right corner and the other one has the photo on the bottom left. which one is the latest one that I should use?
On Form 95 they ask for employment. I can give them all the information about my former employers but I am currently UNemployed. will that be a problem at the consulate when they see that I currently have no job?
As I am a german citizen living in the US so I need a travel insurance. the insurance that comes with my german visa card should be good enough. what kind of "proof" do people usually attach to their application? a copy of their visa card or something else?
any help is greatly appreciated |

You should have a letter from VISA, or the copy of your insurance contract. It's much better if it metions specifically Russia. The Visa card itself doesn't prove anything. You can normally get the necessary document at your bank.
Concerning your unemployment, don't worry they know that the big wave of German migration to Russia ended a couple centuries ago, so even if you are unemployed they are not worried about Germans stealing jobs to Russians. |
